GRAFFITI/STREET ART IN MOROCCO
While in Morocco we spent time tracking down ruins from thousands of years ago or looking for beautiful mosques. We would occasionally stumble upon some street art. Some times the street art will have a more artistic presence and sometimes it will be rough and less intricate.
Street art and graffiti are often associated with illegal activities. However, many pieces are often commissioned or have been pre-approved by the owner of the property. Street art, graffiti and tagging can all mean different things to different people. They also can be done for different reasons. Some are political, some are egotistical and some are just for the love of art.
