Hi.

We are Bud and Beth. We sold most of our belongings (stored the rest) and hit the road for one year around the world. Follow our adventure as we go to 26 countries and 45 cities (give or take a few) in one year.

For $85 a night we got a tiny little studio apartment in Hong Kong. It was not fancy but it was clean and comfortable. It also gave us a little insight into an apartment complex that you see all over Hong Kong. The housing in Hong Kong tends to be vertical because of the lack of space in the city. Some of the buildings are nicer than others but the majority all seem to look alike. They are plain and very non-descript. Some of them have the water and sewer pipes on the outside of the buildings rather than in the walls. I found that very interesting and wondered if that made plumbing problems easier or harder to deal with. Beth H.

Following is the photos from our Airbnb.

Hong Kong is expensive to live in but not too expensive to visit. We should have stayed two weeks.
