Today I learned that doing your homework before leaving your apartment is really valuable. Knowing where you are headed for the day, what time things open, ticket purchasing options, busy days of the week and busy times of the day all make for a more enjoyable experience. Do your homework on the weather which affects sightseeing, clothes to take, and transportation options. All of this homework can be done from your smart phone with the proper app’s. Don’t forget to check with the business website to make sure the museum or attraction is still open. Even a current year travel guide may have missed something or missed a closure.
