WHAT WE SPENT IN LONDON ENGLAND - The first time
London has been our most expensive area so far. We spent on average $170 per day. We saved by staying a little further out of the city and eating at home more often than average. We saved by renting a place that we could do our own laundry and by only taking public transportation and no Uber or cabs. With all that done it still came in higher because for every 1 pound spent it would equal $1.31 USA dollar. So when we bought a Burger King meal for 6 pounds it really equaled $7.85. When the dollar isn’t strong in a country, it can really add up fast.
We are anticipating our daily average to come down when we get to India and Asia where the dollar is stronger and the prices are lower.
