LOVE THE ART IN VALENCIA SPAIN
Valencia Spain is home to one of my top favorite street artists - Pichi and Avo. The duo street artists have been painting together since 2009. I was excited to be in their hometown and hoped it would up my chance of being able to see some of their work in person.
Trying to find street art that you have seen on the internet has proven to be more difficult than I imagined. Rarely does anyone publish a street address or location. Also, street art is often removed, painted over or covered up by another painting.
I sent the duo an email asking where I could see any of their work in Valencia. Unfortunately, they responded after we had left. They currently have only one mural in Valencia because they have been traveling worldwide painting and attending festivals.
Pichiavo is one of my favorites because they mix classical art and modern urban art. Seeing a Greek god mixed with modern art really makes it come alive.
