WHERE WE STAYED IN IBIZA SPAIN
Ibiza was the very first Airbnb that we had booked. We booked it about 6 months before our trip even began. I was so excited to be going to Ibiza that I wanted to make sure we got a place to stay for a reasonable price.
We stayed in an apartment with two other people. Monica and her roommate were real respectful of our privacy and we felt welcomed by them. They worked during the afternoon and evening so they weren’t around very much.
Personally, I found it much harder to relax then Bud did. He is a very social person who just jumps in and goes. I am more cautious; I was concerned that we were invading their space. We never made our own dinner there because I felt funny rummaging through Monica’s kitchen for stuff. However, we did eat breakfast there, we ate fruit and cereal, food that was easy to prepare.
We have tried it two times now, staying in a room vs having the entire apartment. From now on, we are going to get places that we can have the entire apartment to ourselves. I am not sure if it my age or just my personality but I really enjoy my privacy and private down time. However, if you are a person who doesn’t mind sharing a space, you can really save a lot of money by traveling this way.
Monica’s place was fantastic, beautiful, clean and centrally located. We paid $88 a night. I re-looked at Airbnb in the area and for the same price we could have had our own place. I think when we originally booked it – I was just so excited – I was happy with anything. Bet
