HOW MUCH WE SPENT IN BERLIN
Our daily expense for Berlin was $171 dollars. We had actually kept our costs down by doing all metro transportation and not eating out much. The amount we spent on tourist activities was pretty good considering how many museums and memorials we went too.
Our biggest expense was the $81 a night Airbnb cost. I know $81 sounds like a great deal but when you are spending every night in an Airbnb, hostel or hotel, it can add up fast. If we spent $81 a night, it would cost us $2430 a month for housing. It really makes me realize how this trip would never have been possible if we had to stay in hotels regularly.
My reason for bringing this up is that if it were not for Airbnb and their added room accommodation choices, we would not be doing this adventure. Beth
