STREET ART - WARK ROCINHA (AKA MARCOS RODRIGO)
All over Rio De Janeiro I ran into these plain angels painted on the walls. I was able to find out that they are from a man named Marcos Rodrigo. He goes by the name Wark Rocinha. He was raised in Rio De Janeiro's largest flavela. You can find his pieces in Brazil, USA, Canada and other countries. Wark also began a institute to teach youth of the Rocinha about the practice of art making. Here are a few pictures I captured. I will be looking for more as I travel the world.
