I'M IN LOVE WITH PARIS FRANCE
AAAAAHHHHHH...... PARIS! One of the most famous cities on earth. Covering almost 600 miles from Barcelona to Paris in just a little over 3 hours, we arrive exhilarated and head to our new Airbnb.
Our usual exposure to the local On/Off Bus does not disappoint. We are impressed enough to tour the stunning Palais Garnier - Paris Opera house and enjoy it's charm. The meandering Seine River, the busy boulevards of buses and the thousands of tourists all cram into the ffabulous tourist area around the Eiffel Towers, the Louvre Museum, and the Champs des Elysees. We enjoy them all. The louvre Museum takes all day and we linger as long as possible enjoying the feel of the Effiel Tower and its history.
We wont forget a memorable visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the following evening sunset cruise down the Seine River. We take time to enjoy ample amount of local graffiti, visit the Montmarte arts community and climb to the top of the Sacre Coeur Church. We do this while we enjoy meeting up with a friend from Portland - Ruthie. (It was so great seeing you Ruthie!)
The last day is spent walking the Seine river, having a picnic, soaking up the August sunshine. It is a fantastic visit and yes..... we will be back. Bud
